ReviewAnything is a browser extension that allows users to leave star ratings and reviews on any webpage. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data We Collect

We collect and store the following information when you submit a review:

• Review content: Your star rating (1-5) and written comment
• Page information: The URL and title of the page you are reviewing
• Anonymous identifier: A randomly generated ID stored locally in your browser to prevent duplicate reviews on the same page
• Timestamp: When the review was submitted

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your name or email address
• Your browsing history
• Any personal information
• Data from pages you do not review

How We Use Your Data

Your review data is used solely to:

• Display reviews to other users of the extension
• Calculate average ratings for pages
• Prevent duplicate reviews from the same browser

Data Storage

Review data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service. Your anonymous identifier is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and is never shared with other users.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Reviews you submit are visible to other users of the extension when they visit the same page.

Your Rights

Since reviews are anonymous, we cannot identify which reviews belong to you. If you wish to stop using the extension, you can simply uninstall it from your browser.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
